Reading the result honestly

  • These are blended industry averages: 2.1% domestic bad-address rate (Shippo), 6% international (Loqate). Your store's actual rate may be higher or lower depending on category, customer mix, and your current address-validation approach.

  • Tacey's AUTO-RESOLVE catches roughly 85% of carrier-correction-fee triggers (formatting issues that don't need customer input). The remaining 15% get held and the customer corrects via the fix page.

  • USPS doesn't charge correction fees, but failed-delivery reships still cost an average of $8 (return shipping + reprocess). We include this in the total.
