What this tool does

Detect what theme any Shopify store uses

Paste any Shopify storefront URL. The detector identifies the theme name, version, and any theme app extensions installed - useful when scoping a competitive analysis, researching what's working in your category, or vetting a freelance theme dev's prior work.

How to use it

One input, one output

   Paste the storefront URL (e.g. brand.com or brand.myshopify.com).

   Click Detect. The check runs in 2-4 seconds.

   Read the theme name + version. Free Shopify themes (Dawn, Sense, Refresh, etc.) and paid themes (Impulse, Prestige, Symmetry, Empire, etc.) are both detected.

   Note any theme app extensions visible in the storefront - good signal for what apps the store uses.
