What is live today. The offer on the order pages.

Tacey can offer a customer something extra on the thank you page and the order status page while the edit window is open: a free gift once the order passes a total you set, and a Recommended for you row they can add from. Anything that costs money shows the exact amount and waits for the customer's yes. It appears once you have added the Tacey block to those pages in Shopify, and the free gift only once you set a total and at least one gift product.

Not every checkout reaches that screen. Shopify decides who does.

Shopify's own post-purchase screen is only rendered for a credit card charged directly at checkout. A buyer who pays with a wallet, a buy-now-pay-later method, or a gift card skips straight to the thank you page, for every app that uses that surface. The thank you page is different: every order reaches it.

SKIP SHOPIFY'S POST-PURCHASE SCREEN
Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Klarna, Affirm, Afterpay, Amazon Pay, a gift card, local delivery orders, orders with duties or more than one currency, and anything not placed through the Online Store sales channel.

The address check and order editing do not depend on that screen, because they run on the thank you page and the order status page, which every order reaches regardless of how it was paid for.

Where does the upsell offer appear?

Does Tacey have an offer screen right after payment?
Not yet. It is coming soon, with no release date. That is a separate Shopify checkout surface and Tacey has not built it. What is live today is the offer on the thank you and order status pages.
Can I upsell on the Shopify thank you page with Tacey?
Yes, that is what Tacey offers today: a free gift once the order passes a total you set, and a Recommended for you row, on the thank you page and the order status page. The upsells page explains both.
Does it need Shopify Plus?
No. The offer on the thank you and order status pages works on every plan. In-checkout offers, the kind that sit inside the shipping-method box, are a Shopify Plus capability, and Tacey does not offer them.
Does every checkout reach Shopify's post-purchase screen?
No. Shopify only renders it for a credit card charged directly at checkout. A buyer who pays with a wallet, a buy-now-pay-later method or a gift card skips straight to the thank you page, for every app that uses that surface. The address check and order editing do not depend on it.
Is anything added to the order without the customer confirming?
No. A gift or a recommended product is added only after the customer confirms, and a product shows the exact amount first.
