If you allow it, customers editing their delivery address can pick another country you ship to, and the form adapts to it: states or provinces, the right postcode label, or no postcode where a country has none. When the new address falls in a different shipping zone, you decide what happens: refuse the change (the default), or keep the original shipping fee after the customer sees both amounts and confirms. Moves within the same shipping zone go through without a shipping question, moves to the United Kingdom work whenever your zone covers every UK region, and stores on Shopify's market-driven shipping keep the original fee and have the order flagged for review. "Keep edits inside the original country" is on by default, and locking the country reaches a customer's form even if their page was already open.
